Positive Ray’s determined effort to make a difference to communities burdened by HIV resulted in the organization receiving support from the Presidential Emergency Fund for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR - USAID) during the period 2007-2009.
Positive Ray’s vision is tomobilize and motivate local communities to participate in a programme of action to address the challenges facing them as a result of HIV. PPR’s scope and extent of operations is summarized in the following diagram.
News in March 2010: PEPFAR Workplan workshop
Londa Mkhungo (M&E officer), Edmara Ngwane (PE manager) and Sibongiseni Cele have conducted a work plan workshop. The workshop was held on the 10th March 2010 at UAA resource centre. The purpose of the workshop was to make HIV and AIDS program staff to better understand how it is important to use work plan and the budget accordingly. It was a good platform for Community workers, facilitators, driver, administrator and the nurse to know what is required by PEPFAR.The staff was taken through all the changes that have been made in the forms and they added their ideas
